No words needed
This weekend, I was hosting a family camp that was here staying at SharpTop. I witnessed something that has really left a life long impression on my heart. I was at lunch, making sure all was well, and that the group did not need anything. David Haskins, who was in charge of the Chattanooga Family Camp was getting ready to pray for the meal. He was up on stage and he had this little boy in his arms. The little boy was three or four years old. Old enough where he was waving and smiling etc. This little boy had a smile that could melt your heart, and every time that you would pass him around camp, he would wave and smile at you. This little boy was also, "mentally challenged". Anyways, back to the story in the dining hall. David was about to pray and said that he was going to let the little boy pray for the meal. As he put the microphone to the little boys mouth, he just smiled. (this went on for about 15 seconds) David, then pulled the microphone away and with a big smile, said Amen. He followed up by saying, "That was a beautiful prayer". God is so huge, and he has made us all in the way he designed, no matter what the world tells us. This little boy was talking to God, in the clearest way I have ever seen.
